This is a great exercise for beginners or advanced. For all of us that like to keep our health and balance in life. Clears away negative energy we may carry for a better, healthier you.
It may seem long but it isn't really once you understand it, so take the time to read through first for the concept then write it out or use drawings to know your chakras.
I showed this on site to help someone so decided to place it on the forums for others to use.
First do you know your chakras? The 7 main ones and their colours?
They should all spin in a clock wise direction and a nice calm pace, and each work with their own colour, which are the colours of the rainbow.
You may like to use a human body shape on paper to draw chakras on, or google a picture.
I will go through them all first then tell you how to clear them.
Starting at the top of your head is your crown chakra which is a mauve (light purple colour)
Next is your forhead...your third eye, which spins with the purple colour (some say turquoise)
Then next is the throat chakra which spins with the blue colour.
Next is the heart that is green
Then the next which is just above you navel and is called your solar plexus which is yellow.
The next is just below your navel and is orange and called the sacral chakra.
Just a bit lower (before the end of your body) is your base or root chakra and it is red.
I will also add their emotions for each area
The crown, is for connection with your soul and universe, spiritual self.
Then the third eye ...psychic sight.
The throat is for communication.
The heart is the emotional self.
The solar plexus is your creative self.
The sacral chakra below your navel is for your own personal views that you have of you and the world.
The last one is the red one, the root and it's about your family thoughts and attitudes from their beliefs and values installed in you.
Not that I will go into it deeper but each charka also carries healing issues of the physical body, and then can go further into intuition reasons.
However you only need to basics to start, when healing others healers go further but for you its good to know this starting area
Now I will give you an exercise to do daily, it will help keep you balanced.
The colours and meanings are universal teachings
Ok so for the exercise.
If you need a boost do it slower and longer but this is a quick fix.
Some people start from the base upwards, however I start at the top.
Stand up straight or sit if you have to
To see how your chakra feels put your hand just off your body
Can you feel it spinning in a clock wise? Or see it in your mind
Doing the exercise then to open it
Move your hand above the area in an anti clock wise direction, that will open it for healing.
You will sort of know when its open as it's intuitive.
A few turns usually
Ok next to your forehead, hand just off and feel how it feels
Is it spinning nice clockwise? nice and slow, calm feeling is good
Or does it feel sluggish or anti clockwise? If so then that's not balanced
Ok so still do the anti clockwise to open
Now to the next one, the heart
Open it
Then now to the next one the yellow one - same thing ..open
Now the orange one - open
Then the red - open
Ok now we have all the main ones open, but we will also continue down to your knees
Open a chakra on each of those, they are coloured but need help for balance
Then down over your feet and open one over each foot, again we need balance there
It may feel like a swirling on your hands or might feel heat, but that energy shows we are all healers
Ok now we do the same open anti clockwise movement over the ground
Next I want you to imagine pulling up from the earth a huge crystal, whatever colour you feel the earth needs to give you
And take that cyrstal up to around your waist height, feel the energy of the crystal under your hands.
Next ( I am doing the quick verson here ) you can let the crystal go back to Mother Earth
And go to your feet and close your chakras with a clock wise hand movement
Next go to your knees and clockwise close your chakra
Then to your base /red chakra and close - usually about 3 circle movements feels right
Then your orange one
Next your yellow
Then your heart
Then close your throat
Then your third eye
And then your crown (the crown never closes fully so don't worry)
Good now let finish it off then you can check your work
So now take one hand from the top of your head in a straight line down your chakras to your base chakra
Then bring it to your heart and leave it there
Then take your other hand and do the same
When you have both hands at your heart hold in the prayer position, and thank God or who ever you call this energy.
Ok, now how about you check your chakras and how they are spinning ...
You should feel nice slow moving spinning now and if any feel not like that, then simply re-do them.
This might seem a long exercise but as you get used to it can be done in a few minutes.
It's great in the shower as water is a conductor and wonderful to do first thing in the morning and as you go to bed. Can be done anytime you feel 'frazzled' during the day.
