Chat Rooms are a separate registration to the the forums.
If you haven't registered for the new chat rooms, then your name will be shown as Guest and you will only have Guest access so you won't be able to enter rooms. If this is the case then follow this procedure:-
Scroll to the bottom of the forum page and click on the chat button.
1.Click on Login with facebook or email and wait for the next screen to come up.
2. Now click on the link at the botttom of the screen that says New user? Register Now!
3. On the next screen, enter either your facebook or email address, your username and choose a password and click sign up
4. Then, on the chat login screen, enter either the facebook or the email address and password that you registered for chat with, and click on remember me, then click on login.
If you have already registered for the new chat rooms then just follow step 4. You will then see the list of chat rooms, just click on one and enter.
Once logged in you can edit your screen name so that it shows your correct site username by clicking on the 3 horizontal lines, you can also add a custom picture or avatar there.
If you have already registered for the new chat rooms and can't remember your password then click on the Forgot Password Click Here link as shown in the second picture.
Members unable to see the Chat button at the bottom of the page may have already been in rooms but not signed out. This could mean that the chat may still be open and you should see a chat room icon halfway down the forum screen on the right of the page. Just click on it to reopen the chat.
You may also have a pop up stopper add on in your browser which could prevent the chatroom overlay button from showing on the screen. If so then go into the pop up blocker settings and allow mediumystics.boards.net/
You should clear your browsing data/cookies if you are still having issues so that the page reloads. ( if you don't clear cookies/data then your previous attempt is still in your browser storage and if an error occured it will repeatedly go to that attempt until your clear it)
You could also try a different browser, or download a free program such as CCleaner which makes a better job of clearing cache and cookies in all browsers.
You could also try opening your browser in incognito mode.
